"Ordered 6 pounds of jumbo stone crab claws for Mother’s Day. The day before they were supposed to ship, I received a message saying that they would not have jumbo claws available this weekend, but they could send large instead and refund the difference. I replied immediately to confirm this and received a partial refund and updated order confirmation. The order is due to arrive today and I could not find a shipping confirmation so I called and was told “the earliest they can be delivered to your area is Tuesday”. Translation - they messed up, didn’t ship them and I’m out of luck. No attempt to make it right, not even a discount to be applied in the future. Bottom line is that I now know not to trust George Stone Crab for important events in the future. I also find it interesting that the website has not been updated to indicate that larger sizes are sold out, so others may wind up going through this same scenario. Very disappointing and frustrating experience overall."
